3. Location Data Practices
Location data is essential for Redyus to function. Without access to your precise location, you cannot view or post content on the platform.
What We Collect
We collect precise geolocation data (latitude and longitude accurate to within a few meters) from your device's GPS, Wi-Fi, cellular network, or other location technologies.
How We Use Location Data
- Determine which pins are within your view radius
- Verify you are within the pin radius to post content
- Associate your posts with geographic locations
- Calculate your view and pin radii based on engagement
Location Data Storage
- Your current location is processed in real-time and is not permanently stored
- The geographic coordinates associated with pins you create are stored for the duration of the pin's lifespan (TTL)
- We do not store a history of your location movements
Your Consent
When you first use the Service, your device will prompt you to grant location permissions. By granting these permissions and using the Service, you expressly consent to the collection and use of your precise geolocation data as described in this Privacy Policy.
You may revoke consent at any time by disabling location services for Redyus in your device settings. Note that this will prevent you from using the Service.
